Weekend Roadtrip to Mysore – 2

After Weekend Roadtrip to Mysore – 1 and a  short break , we went to Chamundeswari temple , on top of the Chamundi hills which is a 30-40mins drive from Mysore.

After an eventful day, we reached the room and retired for the day.

Day -2 

We started the Day – 2 with the journey to Somnathpur Chenna Kesava Temple which is around an hour long . We reached there at 9 a.m ( the opening time of the temple).

After spending time in the Hoysala temple we started the journey back to Mysore.

A Mysore trip would be incomplete without visiting the palace , so, we went the Mysore palace from there.

We can go to Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary in Srirangapatna on the way to Bangalore from Mysore but it was closed for us at that time due to the Cauvery river flooding, so, we directly went to Ranganathaswamy Temple in Srirangapatna from there. With that we concluded the “Weekend road trip to Mysore” and started the journey back to Namma Bangalore.
